Anti-inflammatory via NF-kB and COX-2 inhibition, hepatoprotective, immunomodulatory (macrophage activation), antipyretic, analgesic

Research Notes

Anti-inflammatory effects confirmed in multiple models. Hepatoprotective in CCl4 and D-GalN liver injury. Immunostimulatory at low doses, immunosuppressive at high doses — biphasic. Antipyretic activity supports traditional use for alternating fever.
