Stimulate Leydig cell testosterone secretion by upregulating StAR protein expression and CYP17A1 enzyme activity in testicular tissue, enhancing cholesterol transport into the mitochondrial matrix and increasing androgen biosynthesis. Promote Sertoli cell proliferation and spermatogonial differentiation via GDNF receptor pathway activation.

A double-blind RCT (n=60 oligospermic men) demonstrated 5 g/day Safed Musli root powder for 90 days produced significant increases in total sperm count (42.3%), sperm motility (27.8%), and serum testosterone (18.5%) versus placebo.
