Mechanism of Action

Reduce hepatic de novo lipogenesis by downregulating SREBP-1c. Inhibit pancreatic lipase activity. Exhibit hepatoprotective activity through Nrf2/ARE pathway activation.

Research Notes

In vivo anti-hyperlipidemic effects demonstrated in high-fat diet-fed rats with significant reductions in total cholesterol (22–28%), triglycerides (19–26%), and LDL-C (24–31%).
