Enokipodin
In vitroMechanism of Action
Research Notes
Ishikawa et al. (2001) isolated and characterized enokipodins A–D from Flammulina velutipes mycelium and demonstrated antimicrobial activity against several test organisms. The cuparene sesquiterpene skeleton is relatively uncommon in basidiomycete fungi. Antioxidant and antimicrobial properties have been confirmed but no clinical studies exist.
