Research Notes

hTERT upregulation and telomere elongation confirmed in CD8+ T cells and endothelial cells in vitro. Cardioprotective effects in ischemia-reperfusion models with reduced infarct size. Renal protective effects in diabetic nephropathy models. A Phase I/II clinical study demonstrated reduction in proteinuria in IgA nephropathy patients.
